Hmm.. I don't know you sitation first of all! But to step out to study abroad need to known what you really want..yes! understanding yourself as much as possible (but it's hard),... and the rest questions should be much easy to deal with, you said you going to start your dream couple years later, which I have no problem at all, but if you could start early... I guess might be better a little bit better for your career path of life! Well, just an idea for your reference...
I appreciate your suggestion !!
